The Academy specialises in the education and training of classical musicians at the highest international level and cooperates with leading conservatories across the United States, Europe and China. All programmes except for music teaching are available in English, which is also spoken by both Faculty and students.

Modern Practice facilities Acoustically outstanding concert halls, practicing rooms and professional recording facilities provide the perfect conditions for rapid artistic development. Students can practice from early morning to late evening and easily book RDAM’s many practice rooms using the online booking system. Ambitious and collaborative environment RDAM takes care to foster an ambitious and mutually supportive and collaborative student environment. Every year, students take home prestigious awards from competitions all over the globe. RDAM is very active in the professional music scene in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The Academy collaborates with the Danish Broadcasting Cooperation as well as established organisations from the professional music scene, including national symphony orchestra, choirs and ensembles. Masterclasses across continents Students at RDAM are regularly invited to participate in masterclasses with internationally renowned artists. Masterclasses take place both at RDAM and via Distance Learning Technology, which is an important supplement to the teaching and learning environment.
