About the programme The Master's in Lighting Design is for those who want to work with architectural lighting and natural light at a high academic level. You will learn about the latest methods in interactive lighting, renderings and visualisations. The Master’s also gives you skills related to light measurements, standards and all processes involved in the perception of the luminous environment. Lighting Design is a cross-disciplinary and international Master's programme, based on the unique Danish and Nordic traditions of light perception – traditions that bring use the aesthetics of light and the physical and technical properties of materials into use to create quality of life and well-being. Educational content The Master's in Lighting Design is cross-disciplinary and international. Classes are conducted in English with a focus on problem-based project work. As a Master’s student, you will work with natural light, illumination, artificial light or electric light at the intersection ofbetween three scientific fields: media technology, engineering and architecture. Among other things, you will work with the interplay between the physical elements of light, lighting technologies, digital media, context, human factors and design methods.
