About the programme The Master's in Lighting Design is for those who want to work with architectural lighting and natural light at a high academic level. The Master’s also gives you skills related to light measurements, standards and all processes involved in the perception of the luminous environment. Lighting Design is a cross-disciplinary and international Master's programme, based on the unique Danish and Nordic traditions of light perception – traditions that bring use the aesthetics of light and the physical and technical properties of materials into use to create quality of life and well-being. Educational content The Master's in Lighting Design is cross-disciplinary and international. Classes are conducted in English with a focus on problem-based project work. As a Master’s student, you will work with natural light, illumination, artificial light or electric light at the intersection ofbetween three scientific fields: media technology, engineering and architecture.
