Description Are you interested in energy optimisation, renewable energy in building design, building operations, and indoor climate? As a Master of Science in Technology in Building Energy Design, you will work with reduction and optimisation of energy use in buildings through for example application of renewable energy in both design, construction, and operation. During the study programme, you will gain an integrated understanding of the relation between energy efficient design of buildings and optimal operation concerning indoor climate, energy consumption, and overall economy. You will obtain specialised knowledge about energy design in buildings, and you will be able to create cost-effective solutions with minimal environmental impact in terms of design, construction, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. You will work with the Aalborg method of problem based learning providing you with the opportunity to solve complex real-life work tasks in groups with your fellow students and often in close collaboration with industrial partners.
