Program overview

The degree programme in physiotherapy covers education and research in human movements and functioning We provide short term exchange programmes in English. The full-degree programme is taught in Danish. We combine high academic skills with clinical experience in many contexts ranging from health promotion - and disease prevention, acute care, rehabilitation and disability to disease management. In this way students will apply theory in practice in the surrounding society in municipalities, institutions and workplaces involving patients, clients and groups. Communication and physical contact between people is one of the cornerstones in physiotherapy. We aim to nourish the students’ development of these qualities and learning of targeting physiotherapy to people in all stages of life, in both mono- and inter-professional contexts. Throughout the physiotherapy degree programme we conduct learning activities, development and research in physiotherapy in our on-campus skills laboratory as well as in collaboration with our external partners using various didactical and scientific methods. The ethical basis of our degree programme refers to the ethical guidelines set out by the Association of Danish Physiotherapists and the World Confederation of Physical Therapy. Tuition You do not have to pay tuition fees if you come via a partner university. If you come as a free mover student, be aware that fees apply for non-EU applicants, EU applicants do not pay tuition.
