Description The MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences focuses on the various phases of the drug development process. You will learn about pharmaceuticals from the discovery and development of new active substances to their effect and use in patients. You can choose between three academic tracks within the pharmaceutical sciences, which will give you access to the aspect of the field that interest you the most: Drug Discovery, Drug Development and Medicines and Society. An MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences can also be used as a career path to enter the 3-year PhD education e.g. at the Drug Research Academy which is a graduate programme in pharmaceutical sciences at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences. Admission To qualify for admission to the MSc programme in Pharmaceutical Sciences, applicants must have a relevant Bachelor's degree, courses in biological and chemical subjects, and meet the language requirements. Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the natural, health or technical sciences or a corresponding qualification at the Bachelor’s level. Previous applicants have held Bachelor's degrees in, among others, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology. Applicants must have completed the Bachelor´s degree within five years of enrolment in the MSc programme in pharmaceutical sciences.
